Costco Gift card?

Can I purchase a costco gift card and use it to purchase something at the store without a membership?

(I think i still have my online membership)

I asked this instore they said that's only a thing in the US

No as you need a membership to pay at the till or even be in the store

Nope. This doesn't apply in the UK.
