    That's pretty good with batteries

It’s brilliant deal as the battery and charger now cost about the same so you get a free drill.

Anyone managed to get one with the battery for £25?

I got one on Monday morning in Andersonstown. They had about eight but Lidl rarely restock the middle isle deals (edited)

Yes seems to be NI only

The hammer drill was tempting as well.

These don't ship to the rest of the UK i'm fuming.

50%+ of the deals on here don't apply to NI (ie the Ryobi ones), get over yourself and take a chill pill

Does anyone know if these batteries are interchangeable with other brands? 🙏

Not with any other ones directly but you can get some adapters.

I’ve just received one so I can use the batteries with Ryobi tools and works fine. Cost £18.28 though so possibly only worth it if you have a few batteries.

Great to have an NI deal. Only thing better was when my local Tesco had Halo ice-cream scan wrongly.

The higher the screw force of a cordless drill, the easier it is to fasten screws in thick material. Screw force is called "torque" and is measured in Newton meters (Nm). For light screw work, a torque of 25Nm is sufficient. £25 with a battery and charger I think that's what constitutes a 'deal'?

Good deal. Picked one up in a Scottish lidl in March and was £40 for set with battery and charger I think. Certainly dearer than this. Drill very solid feeling.
