Lovely price to Madeira, just £13 each way, Based on the usual hand luggage fare rules.

Madeira, an autonomous region of Portugal, is an archipelago comprising 4 islands off the northwest coast of Africa. It is known for its namesake wine and warm, subtropical climate. The main island of Madeira is volcanic, green and rugged, with high cliffs, pebbly beaches and settlements on deltas of the Fajã River. Capital Funchal has botanic gardens and is known for its harbor and a large New Year's fireworks show. ― Google

If anyone does end up going the cheapest best shop is Pingu dolce.

Pre covid it was cheap, but there has been a big tourism push and loads of so called influencers spamming it lately, so yeah it's not cheap.

£2k for a week on booking.
Seems a bit expensive for a 3 star hotel, but I guess it's purely due to location.

The island is quite busy nowadays, I'd be booking asap and last time I looked a room was easily £100/night
