I got 2 of these myself ages ago from them/80ml espresso 1s and they're great, I read into the borosilicate glass abit while I'd never heard of it and apparently it's what pyrex jugs used to made of where it can handle a quick change from hot to cold too - which on a side note pyrex jugs can sometimes smash doing that now with the new type of glass they've got so all round the borosilicate glass/these espresso glasses are more than worth it.

Pyrex actually switched back quite a while ago after the backlash, you'll see that they specifically put borosilicate on the label now for most of their products, including the kitchen jugs.

They claimed the temporary use of soda lime was for "better drop resistance" but they weren't fooling anyone. They purely did it to save money and it blew up in their face (and unfortunately some of their customers faces more literally speaking) but at least they've sorted it out

Tend to stick to branded glass as always fear cheaper ones are actually lead glass.

Better quality glasses are usually lead-crystal. It poses no health risk

You risk getting shadow banned but fi you space out frequency and payment types - it can work.

Wife bought some of these knock off insulated cups off amazon a while back and they were all in the bin within a couple months. Every single one of them steamed up inside or filled with water despite being dishwasher safe.

Stick with a known brand. Knock offs are a false economy.

I’d never put a double walled cup into the dishwasher, why does it need such powerful cleaning, do you drink soup out of it? (edited)

Good luck ordering glass from AliExpress, mine arrived as a packet of tiny glass fragments.

I think they try to pack it as well as possible but this is a risk you take with ordering glasses to be delivered unfortunately

Good price if you can get it but 51-100ml are on the small size. Will keep a lookout for larger ones
    Deal_searcher's avatar
