Adjustable cutting angle

The OX-P224301 Pro Heavy Duty Fixed Blade Folding Knife can be used for a variety of cutting tasks, such as drywall, roofing materials, carpet, packaging and more.

The adjustable handle allows for the blade to be angled as required. This makes safe operation of the knife when you need to apply additional force such as a drag cut in thicker or harder materials

Wire cutter

The notch built into the frame of the knife allows you to safely cut or thread small gauge wires and cords.

This is particularly useful for electricians when a wire stripper or pliers is out of reach.

Spare blades

The body of the knife has a removable handle that allows for the storage of two blades to be safely kept. When the blade in use is blunt, it can be easily replaced.

Belt hook

The belt hook mounted onto the body of the knife allows for mounting of the knife on a belt or flap. It allows you to quickly and easily retrieve the knife from your belt, rather than having to dig through pockets or a tool bag.

This is a really nice to use knife. It’s solid and comfortable if using for long periods. The only downside is there is no one handed opening and closing of the knife, as it’s quite stiff to move/open. I’d still recommend and at this price it’s brilliant. Thanks OP. (edited)

Second this, except I like that you can't open it with one hand. I'm a bit dangerous with sharp things and I quite like my fingers as they are

Not great, only for light use and opening is very stiff as poor machining on joint surface. OK for 6 quid though.

The one I linked to above is a bit cheaper and has a better and smoother opening mechanism.

I got a free used one in a shoe box this week courtesy of an Amazon employee.

Same as others, great work knife and safety feature, feels very comfortable in the hand. Best one in years.

Better than a proper Stanley? How about spar blades?

Already have two of these because I could never find the first when I needed it. Great knives, especially for £6!

Agree with everyone - nice and solid but stiff to open. I personally prefer this one from Toolstation:

Slightly heavier but the flip to open is so smooth! Yes, it also has space for spare blades.

That's funny, I had that knife before the Ox and as soon as I bought the Ox I threw it away. The whole feel of the Ox is of being better manufactured. You're right though it flips open very easily (edited)

I purchased another one of this just in case the last one i had was defective. This is not as good as the toughmaster. It is so stiff to open. The lock positions are weird. The 90 degree lock is more like 65 degrees meaning it is precariously close to your fingers. Just as bad as I remember it to be.

Does the Toughmaster have a belt clip? Not mentioned in the description or visible in any photo. Thanks
