There is a link on the website for the TV here that when you click lets you register for a 5 year warranty. Specifically the picture screenshot I have attached.

One other point, if you use the discount code you don't get the topcashback. I bought a TV last year and did this. It tracked but the cashback from tcb was later declined (edited)

They changed it to 2 years for whatever reason. I’m going to keep the link and try to register anyway so I’ll update everyone

Bought a microwave last week from them, says 5 years on registration on their website on Samsung it shows 1 year, no help from them, Samsung gave me a link where I can extend to 3 years foc, but no way 5 years, getting through to Marks is very hard, they just have a bot that doesn't understand 😞. Not the same company anymore. Just another drop shift.

Same experience here. Registered a TV and only got two years. The Hisense website has no trace of a current five year warranty offer and Mark's customer contact have not been the most helpful in resolving (just didn't respond until I initiated a refund request). Delivery was great but not sure how they will be if any issues.

At this price probably. It is mini led which gives fantastic picture quality. Not as good as oled but better than qled. This isn't the best model but really it is very marginal. So I think it will be perfectly fine and will work as a good tv

I am holding out for the u7k to be around the 400 mark and then I'm in.

Very tempted but the warranty problem is putting me off. If someone can verify 5 years let me know please

Check Costco. For £5 more you get 5 year warranty.

It’s only got a years warranty at richer sounds and not their usual 6 years

I was going to order this yesterday but they were slow to reply for customer service and didn't seem interested in selling me the TV.

They have also removed the 5 year warranty banner and replaced it with a 2 year one.

That's annoying, I've edited title now and will bold in description.

Is this the best 50-55 inch TV in this price range? There's so many it's hard to know what to do for
    Knowlesknew's avatar
It’s pretty up there for 320ish delivered I’d say.

    Is this better then qled?
    chancooluk's avatar
This is QLED. Which is sometimes known as Quantum Dot LED, and sometimes known as QNED (if you're LG), and sometimes known as ULED (if you're Hisense, but sometimes it's ULED and not QLED).

    Hope I haven't confused you.

Is it an LCD TV, with an LED backlight and a Quantum Dot Layer? Which sometimes is branded as QLED - Yes. (edited)

Is the two year warranty a concern? Should I aim for 5 or is it alright? First time buying a half decent TV!
    Robiesanta's avatar
I am in the market for TV too but not buying without 5 years warranty (whatever they are worth). I have been burned before. Just my 2p worth.
  13. Deal_searcher's avatar
It is. The deal came out today but not everyone has a Costco card. If you don't it is £15 for membership which makes it £355 which is more than this

anyone got a uk review for this tv. been debating about getting the tv as others are saying its better than the qled 55 on their site (already have that model in our house) reviews on youtube seem to advertise this tv with google tv and the legs are also different and stuff like 120hz gaming mode I think in 1080p and the only other review I found was a south african one where it has the vidaa os and same legs but he says thats lcd not mini led. I know its just 10 quid difference just not sure what model to pick since our bedroom tv leds have finally started going on my old 3d tv.

Just so you know, all LED, Mini-LED, QLED and ULED TV's are LCD.
