What is the difference between Ooni and this one ?
    DonnyBrago's avatar
Ooni will get hot enough to make Neapolitan pizza and this one doesn't, is the crux of it.

If you make NY style (dominoes etc) then it's not a big deal, although in that case you can generally make a decent version in your normal oven with a steel pizza stone.

I honestly dont see this being that good, you are better off with an actual pizza oven - and also, when i compared the gas option in my ooni with the wood, I still find that using actual wood to be better flavour overall....

Seems a great deal tempted to sell my oooni koda 12 and get this

This maxes out at 370°C, so unless you only do NY style pizza, this isn't really comparable to an Ooni

How does it compare to ferrari electric pizza oven?
    Tums69's avatar
Had a ferrarri pizza oven for 4 years now and although its not in my mates ooni ballpark it still does really good pizza in 3 mins.

Looks like something else to put in the back of the shed along with the chimnea, ice cream maker, patio heater and all the other bxxxxxxs that we get sold.

If only I had the space for all these gadgets

Just put it in the attic and never use it again until you find out a mouse as gone in there and chewed it all up.

All these devices just seem like ovens to me, from air fryers to gimmicks like this. Just buy a better oven with more features.... Surely they make normal ovens where heat can come from the top or bottom? And ones that have an "air fryer" setting and a rotisserie built in? I'd just spend a grand on that instead of a grand on lots of different things that just get boxed up.

The whole point of cooking outside is to get the charcoal firery taste you do not get using electric.

Few ovens get hot enough to cook pizza properly.

Have you received this item yet ? When I go to check out the pizza peel doesn't appear as part of the order so just wondered if that's lumped in worh the stand or something?

The sage oven for pizza is awesome. Can never get a take away again. Its good for bread/naan too

How do you make nan in it like a standard recipe?

On the rare occasion it’s warm enough to use this outside you won’t fancy pizza anyway.

A ridiculous waste of money on something that might get used one and then just clutters up the garden.

Also the pro connect XL gets the free stand too

There's a similar deal for the woodfire (original) with a stand and cover for £279 but that stand is OOS

This or the woodfire original grill and smoker? (edited)
  14. melody.williams's avatar
    The stand is OOS

Don't think this would fit under my kitchen cupboards.

I have to say, it looks a little on the small side, looks like an 8 in pizza barely fits in?
    banshee3099's avatar
    Have you tried?
