I’ve had this for about 5 years now and is a great bit of kit.
I put it in the garage over winter as the nozzle has a tendency to crack/split when frosty.

The hose looks a bit skinny? Would this have any impact when combined with a pressure hose?
Also, not sure if it’s a thing here, but I think in Australia for each hose they give a “twist rating” - any experience if the hose tends to get twisted up like cheap ones? Thanks

Already had mine on full use from day 1 ......Pressure washed around house for several hrs yesterday and hosed out gutters on roof. The pipe is actually not bad and i never got any kinks/twists and it was a mess all over the place,quite impressed tbh and miles better than my old garden hose.Good purchase at the £39 price point i paid if local and still cheap with delivery compared to anywhere else so i am happy

Good deal, also worth noting that if you want to go the delivery route then sometimes it's good to wait for one of the regular 20% ebay events and people like abbeypower are normally included. ebay.co.uk/itm…154 so you save a few quid more.

Thanks for the post. I ordered and received, albeit with a grey hose rather than the yellow in pictures. Did you have the same?

Also I saw the Aldi one today retractable at £29.99, which seems to be very good value with better spec and lower price. Has anyone experience with both of them to make a recommendation?

Yes i went again yesterday to berrys and bought the same as son wanted one....The grey hose is the current upto date model 2024 manufactured on base of the reel housing so all good,not sure if Aldi hose will be same quality as this which has good reviews so i am happy with mine for the price

Reviews on Aldi one a bit hit & miss,especially regarding thin plastic components & auto rewind reel problems so happy to manually wind my hozelock reel which i am sure will last much longer in the long run as seen reviews 5yrs+ and still going strong.
